Smart Start Transit is a non-emergency medical transportation company located in Waterford MI. The company was founded in Ohio by Theresa and Demetree Henry owners of Smart Start Development and Learning Center. Smart Start Transit is a Medicaid approved Ambulette service that provides professional door through door services. We are approved and licensed by the State Board of Emergency Medical, Fire,
and Transportation Services (EMS). We assist our clients from time of pick up to make sure they get to their destination safely and in a timely manner. All of our drivers have a safe driving record, CPR and First-Aid training and have completed the EMS professional training on loading and unloading wheelchair passengers safely.

Our Services
Our services: Monday – Friday: 6am – 5pm, include, but are not limited to, all medical appointments, non-emergency hospital visits, hospital discharge, dialysis, physical therapy, stroke rehabilitation, pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation, and dental appointments.
